Driver of car seen in Lancaster smelling of cannabis arrested for drug driving

A car seen in the Lancaster area smelling of cannabis was stopped on Garstang Road by police.

Lancs Road Police said on Twitter: “This vehicle was sighted in the Lancaster area by officers earlier on smelling of cannabis.

“The vehicle entered Preston and was stopped on Garstang Road by #HO31.

“The driver blew 96 at the roadside and tested positive for cannabis and cocaine on the @DrugWipeUK.

"The man was arrested.”

It's an offence to drive with any of 17 controlled drugs above specified level in your blood.
