Fire crews spent almost an hour dealing with a house fire in Lancaster.

Two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended the property in Princess Avenue, just before 4pm on Monday.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, a dry powder extinguisher and a ventilation unit to extinguish the blaze.
