Fire crews tackle HGV on fire on M6 southbound near Lancaster

Six fire engines from Lancaster, Garstang, Leyland, and Preston attended an incident on the M6 southbound between junctions 33 and 32 at 8.12pm on April 18.

The incident involved a HGV on fire.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, and foam to extinguish the fire.

Crews were detained for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
