A Lancaster man convicted of a sexual assault has been spared a jail sentence.

Bibi Gilazgi, 27, of Aldcliffe Road, Lancaster, was sentenced at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court to 20 weeks prison suspended for 24 months.

He was ordered to pay £200 costs and a victim surcharge of £128.

He will be on the sex offenders register for seven years.
