Garstang CC's gratitude to financial supporters
Like clubs and up and down the land, Garstang have had to plot a path through the coronavirus crisis.
On the field, the first half of the Northern Premier Cricket League season has been lost as a result of the pandemic.

In Garstang’s case, their golf day on July 17 looks set to be sold out with 30 teams competing at Garstang Golf Club.
That interest goes some way towards providing much-needed income at a difficult time for everyone.
“We’ve had a fantastic response to that,” Walling said of the golf day.

“I think a lot of people are just desperate to get out for some competitive sport.”
The club is also taking part in the Wyre Community Lottery as a further way of generating funds.
Along with the other designated ‘good causes’ it has its own page on the lottery website with 50 per cent of all ticket sales from that page going back to the club.

“That brings in some more money for which we’re grateful.”
